Botanìk is a multimedia show conceived and produced by oddagency and promoted by Coop Culture. The Arab well is a hidden corner of the Botanical Garden of Palermo, hidden from the eyes of visitors by the “ruins” of the church of San Dionisio.
In this circumscribed space, Oddagency recreated the atmosphere of a secret garden, a place that, as in the famous novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, was the beating full of life heart of the botanical garden.
Sounds, projections, artistic lighting, animated the evenings, from 6 to 9 June, of “Una Marina di Libri” books fair.
Screenings inspired by the ancient illustrated volumes of botany and entomology welcomed the visitors at the end of a nocturnal visit to the Garden, behind a holographic screen, covered by plants, the djs accompanied the performance with electronic sounds.
At the center of the scene a great virtual fire, to remember the one around which the first men began to tell and to listen to stories.
