400°+1 FESTINO DI SANTA ROSALIA
400°+1 Festino di Santa Rosalia
Odd Agency curated the artistic direction and co-production of a celebration that renewed the beauty, faith, and community of Palermo around its most ancient ritual — reinterpreted through contemporary languages and collective participation.
A Vision of Living Beauty
This edition embraced an idea of “living beauty” — necessary, rooted in the city’s history yet expressed through modern artistic forms: monumental video mapping, original dramaturgy, immersive sound design, choreographic and musical performances, ephemeral installations, and innovative scenic structures.
At the heart of the event stood the theatre-wagon, inspired by the “Ship of Fools” — a powerful visual symbol and functional stage ensuring complete visibility of the performances along the entire procession route.

400°+1 FESTINO DI SANTA ROSALIA
The first true Festino of the new millennium
The event unfolded through five main acts plus an unprecedented sixth stage at Palazzo Riso.
Each act combined theatre, choreography, music, architectural projections, and moments of strong emotional impact.
More than 100 artists, technicians, performers, set designers, light designers, stage operators, actors, musicians, authors, and designers, as well as cultural industry professionals and partner companies, contributed to the production.
A true map of Palermo’s creative excellence — many of whom are recognized nationally and internationally.
The 400°+1 Festino established a new benchmark for artistic and technical production, balancing organizational precision with creative freedom.
Through a cross-media approach, the audience experienced an event that was immersive, poetic, and profoundly popular.
The entire project was built on a single, powerful idea:
a shared, visible, and living beauty that continues to resonate.
