A SPECTACULAR CEREMONY
The Anglo-Palermitan Trophy’s opening and awards ceremonies told a story through images, sound and performance. Video installations, synchronised lighting, animated stage designs and live performances set the scene for the match, building a sense of pride and community. With a performance by Rose Villain to open proceedings, the Palermo–Manchester City match brought music, sport and fans together in one celebration.
AN AMBITIOUS AND COMPLEX PRODUCTION
The Anglo-Palermitan Trophy required an intensive programme of show production. ODD Agency coordinated a packed running order, from giant crests moving into position at the centre of the pitch to musical performances, entertainment and Rose Villain’s show. LED and lighting design transformed the atmosphere at the Renzo Barbera stadium. Palermo’s organised supporters played a central role, creating a spectacular stadium display. The evening of sport and entertainment culminated in the presentation of a trophy celebrating the much-loved Sicilian club’s 125th anniversary.
