Light, video mapping and music performances in the Salinas Museum cloister.

The power of light

Like the museum’s artefacts, video mapping, holographic projections and scenic installations trace humanity’s technical, technological and artistic development. They explore our hopes and fears, our relationships with nature and one another, and the opposing forces of war and peace, hatred and love.

Light and sound are at the heart of the performance. Throughout human history, they have brought people together to face the darkness and the dangers it holds.

Bringing people together

Music and lighting hold the performance together and create an atmosphere of gathering, recalling the first percussion instruments played around cave fires at the dawn of civilisation. The installations guide visitors from the Piazza Olivella entrance to the cloister, inviting them to change perspective and discover each work from different angles. InLumina was ODD Agency’s first fully cross-media immersive event.
