BRAVE NEW CITY

A project selected by the prestigious Light Move Festival and projected on the Łódzki Dom Kultury, the Łódz House of Culture in Poland. It attracted more than 850,000 people.

The biggest Light Festival in Poland

The projection mapping project reflects the evolution of the city, from the first interactions between humans and nature to a more complex form of urbanization connected to virtual reality, to sharing consciousness and the possible integration between anthropic construction and the natural environment.

BRAVE NEW CITY

The evolution of urban space

We chose the House of Culture of Łódz and we proposed a projection mapping based on the theme of the evolution of urban space and its possible future landing place related to virtual reality.

We were inspired by the famous novel Brave New World written by Aldous Huxley. He had a dystopic vision of the future from which we wanted to detach ourselves, imagining possible contamination between the real world and the virtual one based on sharing ideas and projects.

Brave New City was a great challenge that allowed us to deal with themes, audiences and architectures very different from our usual ones, showing the flexibility of Odd Agency and its ability to work also in an international field.
